Baby elephant born in Melbourne Zoo :)

Have you all heard about - and seen the photos - of the new female Asian elephant calf that was recently born at the Melbourne, Victoria, zoo?

She weighed in at 111kg and was born Saturday morning, Jan. 16, 2010 after her mother's (Dokkoon) 22-month-pregnancy.

'Baby', as she is currently named, is the first elephant to be born in Australia apparently. During Dokkoon's pregnancy, the keepers had her doing yoga to help her along. :)
